Generations Healthcare's Lompoc facility is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician to deliver individual and group therapy for adults with severe mental illness in an inpatient residential setting. The role includes supervision duties and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, patient-centered care.

The position requires a Master’s or related degree and a current license (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) or eligible associate status, with supervision experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or closely related field.
• Current LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license in good standing with the BBS OR current registration as an AMFT, ASW, and PCC Trainee/Intern with the BBS.
• One year of behavioral health experience required.
• CPR certification required or obtained within an initial orientation period.
• English proficiency required.
• Must have and or be able to obtain certification needed to provided clinical supervision per the BBS.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing).
• Conduct suicide risk assessment and develop care plan in coordination with the team.
• Supervise AMFT/MSW/APCC students and associates.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop assessment and treatment plans.
• Document and maintain patient records according to standards.
• Train staff and mentor advanced-level therapy students.
