Job summary

Sierra Health and Wellness in Orangevale, CA is seeking a Residential Care Technician (RCT/CNA/Med Tech) to deliver high-quality patient care, support medical and behavioral needs, and maintain a safe, therapeutic living environment. You will monitor client health, perform ADL assistance, document observations, manage medications, transport clients and support groups under clinical supervision.

CPR/First Aid and Med-tech or CNA certification are required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• Med-tech or CNA certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care promoting safety, respect, and therapeutic engagement.
• Observe client condition and report concerns to staff.
• Assist clients with ADLs including mobility, toileting, bathing, and meals.
• Take and document vital signs and wellness checks.
• Observe and document medication self-administration per procedures.
• Respond to crises per intervention protocols.
• Maintain clean, safe living spaces and assist with meal service.
• Provide safe transportation for program activities and appointments.
• Support admissions and document client belongings.
• Facilitate groups and activities as directed by staff.
