Job summary

Sierra Health and Wellness in Concord, CA is hiring a Residential Care Technician to provide high-quality patient care, support medical and behavioral needs, and maintain a safe therapeutic environment. The role includes health monitoring, documentation, ADL assistance, transportation, and medication observation.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days, and Med-tech or CNA certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care that promotes safety, respect, and therapeutic engagement.
• Observe clients’ physical and emotional condition and report concerns to clinical staff.
• Assist clients with ADLs including mobility, toileting, bathing, and meals.
• Take and document vital signs and wellness checks.
• Observe and document client self-administration of medications.
• Respond to behavioral health or medical crises per protocols.
• Prepare rooms and common areas; support meal service and dietary needs.
• Provide safe transportation for program activities and appointments.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness for transport.
