Job summary

Sierra Health and Wellness in California seeks a Residential Care Technician to provide high-quality patient care, monitor health, assist with ADLs, and support a safe therapeutic environment in a residential setting. The role requires CPR/First Aid and Med-tech or CNA certification within 30 days of hire; a high school diploma or GED is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• Med-tech or CNA certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care promoting safety, respect, and therapeutic engagement.
• Observe client health and report concerns to clinical staff.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including mobility, toileting, bathing, and meals.
• Take and document vital signs and wellness checks.
• Observe and document self-administration of medications.
• Respond to crises per protocols.
• Prepare and maintain client rooms and common areas.
• Provide safe transportation for program activities and appointments.
• Assist admissions and document client belongings.
• Participate in groups and treatment programming.
