Job summary

UNMH is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the inpatient/urgent care team. You will assess, diagnose, develop treatment plans, order tests, perform procedures, and oversee transitions of care, collaborating with physicians, nurses and ancillary staff to deliver high-quality patient care across age groups.

Essential: graduate from an APN program, NM APN license with prescriptive authority, ACLS/PALS, CPR/BLS, and at least 1 year of related experience; bilingual in English/Spanish or

Qualifications

• Program graduate as an Advanced Practice Provider.
• Accredited Advanced Practice Nurse certification/licensure.
• 1 year directly related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and develop treatment plans within scope of practice.
• Perform admissions history, exams, orders and rounds; coordinate care.
• Provide patient education and ensure accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with medical/nursing staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Teach and mentor nursing/advanced practice staff; participate in research.
