Qualifications

• Essential: Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant.
• Essential: Program Graduate.
• Experience: 1 year directly related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and develop treatment plans within scope of practice.
• Perform patient history and physical exams for procedures/admissions.
• Complete admitting orders, rounds, and discharge summaries; coordinate with nursing and ancillary staff.
• Perform invasive and non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and explain procedures to patients and families.
• Educate patients and families on preventative care and prescribed treatments.
• Provide accurate documentation in the medical record and communicate with the health care team.
