Job summary

PerkinElmer is expanding our sales team with an Inorganic (AA ICP ICP-MS) Sales Specialist for the FIELD REMOTE Los Angeles, CA area. The role covers the Los Angeles territory and requires travel about 50% with a company vehicle provided for business use, plus laptop and cell.

You will present PerkinElmer capabilities, manage accounts, and build a plan for each product line to grow market share while ensuring margins meet company goals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years direct sales experience selling analytical instrumentation or laboratory equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of the capital equipment sales cycle for inorganic products (AA, ICP, ICP/MS).
• Ability to travel ~50% within the territory and work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales volume by executing a regional sales plan and managing current and new accounts.
• Develop and implement business plans, manage time and territory, and forecast opportunities.
• Cultivate partnerships to provide customer solutions and maintain consultative technical selling capabilities.
• Collaborate with regional teams to support customer events and ensure high service levels.
