Job summary

Energy Panel Structures, Inc. is seeking a Wall Panel Design Technician to design wall panel components using CAD and engineering software. You will read architectural and structural drawings to create accurate layouts.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Sales to refine designs, ensure customer specs are met, and develop plant work order documents.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and timely workload management to meet daily and project goals.

Qualifications

• Experience reading architectural and structural drawings.
• Knowledge of building codes.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Ability to communicate with Sales, Engineering, Production, and job-site personnel.

Responsibilities

• Operate CAD or equivalent design software.
• Create wall panel layouts using design software.
• Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production and Sales to evaluate design concepts.
• Modify designs to meet customer specs or production limits.
• Develop component documents for plant work orders.
• Manage workload to meet productivity goals.
• Complete applicable trainings and follow safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
