ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education, a ChanceLight company, is seeking a Special Education Teacher for elementary students in our alternative education program. You will design personalized instruction and support students with IEP goals in a learning center or classroom.

Lead collaborative instruction, develop detailed lesson plans, and adapt content to diverse needs while using educational software and technology to enhance learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or related field.
• Currently licensed or in process for IL professional educator credential.
• Currently licensed or in process for IL SSE or LBS1 credential.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional process for Elementary School students with IEPs.
• Deliver targeted instruction and create lesson plans aligned to standards.
• Implement and reinforce PBIS strategies and behavior expectations.
