Job summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education in Illinois is seeking a Special Education Teacher for our Elementary Learning Center. You will lead instructional planning, deliver differentiated instruction for students with IEPs, and collaborate with staff to support academic and social growth.

This role emphasizes PBIS, progress monitoring, and family communication. A Bachelors in Education and IL PEL/SSE/LBS1 credentials are required or in process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or related field.
• IL PEL credential in progress or current.
• IL SSE or LBS1 credential in progress or current.
• Ability to obtain crisis management certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional planning and delivery of differentiated instruction for students with IEPs.
• Collaborate with staff to support academic and social growth.
• Implement PBIS and track student progress.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans aligned to standards.
