Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• A valid Alabama Teacher's Certificate.
• Must meet ESSA federal and state requirements or be willing to meet them.

Responsibilities

• Provide a learning environment that allows students to succeed academically in accordance with system core values, goals and objectives.
• Implement an effective educational program for the assigned grade level and subject area using the required course of study and research-based instructional practices.
• Utilize technology to plan and provide instruction and facilitate student learning.
• Model appropriate and innovative use of technology for students.
• Facilitate and monitor the integration of technology in the classroom.
• Provide modifications for students with special needs, including exceptional education students and English learners.
• Select, develop or adapt materials to support learning objectives and student needs.
• Establish routines and behavior management procedures.
• Participate in administration of local and state testing as assigned.
• Use formative and summative assessment to monitor student progress.
