Siemens Energy is hiring an Internal Connection (Cleats & Leads) Design Engineer in Charlotte, NC. You will design and optimize internal connections for power transformers, drive innovations, and ensure alignment with design rules, quality standards, and cost targets as the new factory ramps up.

You will use 3D CAD to model components, develop drawings, and support BOM creation while working with a high-performance team to meet customer needs efficiently when operations commence.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 3+ years of experience as an internal connection design engineer (cleats and leads).
• Experience in designing internal layouts, electrical clearances, and routing leads inside transformers.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mechanical design and analysis of Cleats & Leads for transformers up to 500MVA and 550kV.
• Model designs and parts in 2D/3D CAD and generate drawings and BOMs.
• Collaborate with electrical design, manufacturing, quality, testing and purchasing on leads design topics.
