United Legwear & Apparel Co. in New York City is seeking a Packaging Designer to create innovative packaging for legwear, bodywear, bags, hats, and accessories that aligns with brand identity and regulatory standards.

You will lead creative and technical packaging work with internal teams and external partners, manage dielines and artwork, and coordinate with multiple factories to ensure on-time, production-ready results.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in design or related field and 3–5 years in packaging design.
• Proficiency with MAC OS, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Strong visual and three-dimensional design abilities with attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Create and design packaging for a variety of brands and product categories; bellybands, hangtags, boxes, and more.
• Ensure packaging reflects design direction, brand identity, and customer/distribution requirements.
• Create conceptual design boards and appealing presentations for internal teams (design, sales) and external partners (brands, customers).
• Digital and physical packaging submissions to the license and/or customer for approvals.
• Packaging development with multiple factories; layout review, cost and lead time comparison, and sample execution to establish approved color and quality standards.
• Prepare artwork, dielines, mockups, technical files, and production-ready assets for manufacturing.
• Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure that packaging is produced to specification and within the required timelines.
• Ensure packaging meets both aesthetic and functional standards before mass production.
• Perform any other duties as assigned in support of the company needs and operations.
