Job summary

United Legwear & Apparel Co. in New York City is seeking a Senior Designer to drive design concepts for legwear in collaboration with Skechers. You will lead projects from concept to production in a fast-paced environment, shaping the brand's identity through seasonal drops.

The ideal candidate holds a fashion design degree or equivalent with 4–5 years of design experience, and is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and PLM. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree in fashion design or equivalent experience.
• 4–5 years of design experience or equivalent.
• Strong eye for color, texture and pattern.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, etc.).
• Experience designing socks or legwear is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create distinct vision for the brand's identity through seasonal drops.
• Lead multiple projects from conception to completion with deadlines.
• Champion new ideas to advance the brand's creative presence.
• Prepare CAD presentations for internal and market use.
• Coordinate color, fabric, and trim to maintain look and appeal.
• Collaborate with Product Development and Packaging teams on lead times.
• Develop concepts based on merchandising plans for specific use cases.
• Communicate all information for technical packages.
• Work with web-based PLM and liaise with overseas partners.
