Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of NC Math standards.
• Familiarity with NC Educator Evaluation System or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in Math 1, 2 or other standard level math courses.
• Build a strong, safe classroom culture that supports risk-taking and deep thinking.
• Collaborate with the academic team to design and implement rigorous, standards-aligned units and lessons.
• Engage in bi-weekly coaching that supports improvement in content internalization and higher-level questioning.
• Analyze assessment data with grade-level teams to identify learning gaps and adjust instruction.
• Co-plan lessons and align vertical coherence from Math 1 through AP-level courses.
