Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Math 6-12 teaching certification required.
• Knowledge of secondary education principles.
• Familiarity with curriculum and instructional theory.
• Ability to analyze data to drive program improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide learning environment of high student accountability aligned with goals and objectives.
• Display effective working knowledge of subject matter and best teaching practices.
• Assist in initiatives to meet FTE enrollment and attendance goals.
• Maintain progress monitoring reports, attendance and behavioral records, and academic grades as required by policy.
• Collaborate with peers to develop and implement best educational practices based on student needs.
• Participate in professional development to maintain credentials.
• Facilitate Math Interventions as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned per policy and procedures.
