Job summary

ASML US, LLC is seeking an Electron Optics Design Engineer to design EO system modules for the state-of-the-art e-Beam inspection/metrology tools. You will develop designs from concept to mass production, with emphasis on electron optics, thermal management, and high voltage considerations.

The role requires advanced degrees and hands-on experience in 3D modeling (SolidWorks, NX), FEA, and vacuum/high-voltage environments, collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality modules for

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD preferred in Physics, Optics, Materials, Engineering or related field.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment/mechanical product is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Design electron optics modules and subsystems for e-beam inspection/metrology tools.
• Create design documents from system to module level with clear interfaces.
• Perform simulations and calculations (thermal, vacuum, HV, dynamics, FEM).
• Lead design reviews and risk assessments; conduct experiments and validation.
• Collaborate with vendors to develop, analyze, and fabricate components.
• Support integration, testing, and transition to mass production.
