Job summary

ASML US, including its affiliates, designs high-end lithography/e-Beam inspection tools and supports customers worldwide. The Electron Optics Design Engineer will design EO system modules, perform simulations and lead fabrication-ready documentation to enable mass production.

The role requires strong physics/mechanics knowledge, 2+ years in semiconductor equipment mechanics, and collaboration with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Physics/Optics/Engineering.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in vacuum and high voltage environments.

Responsibilities

• Design EO system modules for e-Beam tool from concept to release.
• Create design docs and interfaces per ASML process.
• Run thermal, vacuum, HV, dynamics, FEM analyses.
• Lead design reviews and risk assessments; document results.
• Collaborate with vendors to develop components.
• Support integration and testing of electron optic system.
• Provide manufacturing transfer documentation and support.
• Explore new concepts for future electron optics.
