Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Missouri is seeking a Scheduler – Core to join the Advanced Facilities Group. You will prepare, build and update project schedules with the team, conduct reviews and help implement scheduling best practices.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years scheduling experience, a degree in construction management or engineering, and proficiency with scheduling software and MS Office. Travel may be required and hours can be non-traditional.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred)
• 0-2 years scheduling experience required
• Ability to travel may be required

Responsibilities

• Prepares, builds and updates project schedules collaboratively with the project team.
• Performs schedule reviews to ensure effective and efficient best practices for scheduling are utilized.
• Participates in all phases of the construction planning & scheduling process, including the creation of proposal schedules, baseline schedule and ongoing schedule updates.
• Utilizes working knowledge of JE Dunn scheduling software.
• Assists with and performs training for JE Dunn operations.
• Assists with the development of best practices for JE Dunn planning and scheduling efforts.
• Visits job sites regularly to review job status and apply sequencing knowledge to update the schedule.
• May attend project related meetings where emphasis on schedule is discussed.
• Supports Lean and Pull Planning sessions by aligning CPM with pull plan results.
• Supports the preparation of reports for assigned projects.
• Adds resource loading and cost loading to schedules as needed.
• Provides planning and scheduling support to operations, marketing and other IPS functions.
