Job summary

Boston University’s Innovate@BU is seeking a Systems & Project Manager to keep internal systems, data, and public information accurate and easy to use. Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing & Communications, you’ll oversee projects, operations, and staff training on the technology stack.

You will turn data into clear insights, coordinate website updates, communications planning, and social media publishing, and support the in-house application and dashboards for program initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in project management, coordination, operations, marketing, or administration.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and coordinate it across a team.
• Proficiency with workflow and project management tools, with the ability to learn new technology quickly and train others.
• Experience with, or a clear aptitude for, administering software resources, integrations and automations.
• Hands-on experience using agentic AI tools such as Claude Code, ChatGPT Codex, or similar, to build or maintain applications.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, including the ability to turn data into clear insights.
• A collaborative, proactive approach; the ability to build relationships with students and stakeholders; and comfort with change and experimentation.
• Interest in innovation and entrepreneurship.
