Job summary

Garmin Ltd. is seeking an Advanced Solutions Manager at its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. The role focuses on facilitating and enhancing Garmin's innovation process to provide strategic solutions, and leading initiatives that advance product concepts and prototypes.

The position requires a strong background in user experience and product innovation, with at least 10 years of industry experience and a track record of effective communication and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or related field.
At least 10 years of industry experience in user experience and product innovation.
Excellent academics (GPA ≥ 3.0).
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Facilitate and enhance Garmin's innovation process to deliver strategic solutions.
Lead strategic initiatives and develop advanced concepts, prototypes, and systems.
Collaborate with leaders to brainstorm solutions and define product concepts.
Develop specifications optimizing function, value, and manufacturability.
Build strategic relationships with customers and manage project status and deliverables.
Lead research of strategic technologies and rapid deployment aligned with business interests.
Test options, verify directions, and ensure optimal business outcomes.
