Job summary

Garmin Ltd. seeks a Cloud Solutions Architect to lead cloud architecture across the Garmin U.S. headquarters in the Kansas City area. You will guide standards, enable cloud adoption, and collaborate with software engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

You will partner with the Cloud Platform Engineering team, shape internal cloud services, and mentor engineers across levels. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring strong leadership and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in CS/IT/MIS or related field with 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or C# and software development experience.
• Experience with microservices, Git, automated testing, and cloud architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement and lead multi-system software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud solutions and drive standards across Garmin across teams.
• Lead major development programs and mentor engineers in cloud design.
• Collaborate with Cloud Platform Engineering to evolve internal cloud services.
• Identify opportunities to improve stability, performance, and maintainability.
