Job summary

GBMC HealthCare seeks a Performance Improvement and Innovation Specialist to design, deploy, and integrate evidence-based methods to foster continuous learning. You will develop system-wide PI training and support large-scale strategic projects aligned with quality and safety goals.

The role requires strong leadership, data analytics, and the ability to influence across departments. Applicants should have an RN license or clinical background and a background in process improvement methodologies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred in nursing, public health, or healthcare-related field; bachelor’s required.
• Active RN licensure or clinical license preferred.
• Patient Safety Certificate or Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• Five+ years of clinical experience in acute care.
• Five+ years of Process Improvement/ Performance Improvement in clinical settings.
• Experience managing multifaceted quality and PI projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate strategic projects for organizational improvement, quality, and safety.
• Collaborate with organizational leaders to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Develop and deliver training across the Performance Improvement & Innovation system.
• Scope tasks, plan schedules, and measure progress against goals.
• Organize information and share best practices across departments.
• Lead data-driven analysis to interpret results and inform decisions.
• Drive KPIs and ensure standard work processes are followed.
• Integrate critical systems, people, and workflows for sustained change.
