Job summary

USA Health seeks a dedicated Nursing professional to lead quality and performance improvement initiatives at Mobile facilities. The role emphasizes adherence to evidence-based care, patient safety, and collaboration with physicians, staff, and leadership.

The candidate will drive performance improvement projects, ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards, and contribute to education and data reporting for performance measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing from an accredited institution and 5 years of professional nursing experience.
• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama Required
• Master's Degree in nursing Preferred
• Certification in IHI's model for improvement, Six Sigma, Lean or CPHQ Preferred

Responsibilities

• Abides by and enforces all compliance requirements and policies and performs these responsibilities in an ethical manner consistent with the organization's values.
• Adheres to hospital policies including confidentiality,
• Works the assigned schedule and overtime as needed.
• Engages and fosters relationships with all levels of staff within the organization; building strong relationships with team members, faculty and customers.
• Maintains accurate, complete & confidential information utilized in the hospital Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement program.
• Leads performance improvement teams with the science of improvement concepts including lean principles.
• Participates in local, state and national activities pertaining to evidence-based care.
