Haleon plc. in Richmond, VA, is seeking a Product Development Scientist to lead formulation and product development across innovation and development projects.

You will design experiments, develop robust formulations, and drive programs from concept through commercialization in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role requires a strong scientific foundation, hands-on lab experience, and the ability to influence and collaborate across teams to deliver consumer healthcare and wellness

Formación

• BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of formulation or product development experience in consumer healthcare, pharmaceuticals, OTC medicines, dietary supplements, foods, or adjacent industry.
• Hands-on lab experience applying scientific principles to formulation challenges.
• Experience designing experiments and analyzing technical data.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Manage or contribute to one or more projects in support of product innovation and development initiatives.
• Lead end-to-end development plans ensuring technical robustness, cost efficiency, manufacturability, and global deployment.
• Collaborate with external development partners, suppliers, contract manufacturers, and testing laboratories.
• Develop prototypes, optimize formulations, and establish a design space through structured experimentation.
• Design experiments and conduct scientific work with good scientific practice and GMP where applicable.
• Prepare written procedures and quality documentation (SOPs, batch docs, validation protocols and reports).
