Job summary

Haleon in Richmond, VA is seeking an Associate Development Scientist to support formulation and product development from concept through commercialization. You will work with scientists and cross-functional partners to deliver robust consumer healthcare products across various formats.

This role offers a hybrid work model and a path to grow technical expertise in multiple product formats. The ideal candidate has a strong scientific foundation, up to 3 years of experience in product development

Qualifications

• BS in a related scientific discipline and up to 3 years in product development or related fields.
• Experience in a laboratory environment.
• Strong scientific, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support one or more projects in product innovation, development, and lifecycle management initiatives.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and technical studies in support of formulation and product development activities.
• Assist in formulation development, prototype preparation, and experimental evaluations under the guidance of other scientists.
• Generate, record, and communicate technical data to support project decisions and milestones.
• Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks, technical reports, and project documentation.
• Follow established procedures and contribute to quality documentation, including SOPs, batch records, validation protocols, and reports.
• Conduct all work in accordance with GMP, EHS, and site quality requirements.
• Develop knowledge of formulation science and product development processes.
• Participate in technical discussions and present findings to project teams.
