Job summary

Amazon in Nashville is seeking an Innovation and Design Engineer to own multiple projects—from concept through design approval—on world-class fulfillment centers and logistics systems.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, hand off to Ops Engineering for installation and commissioning, and work on green-field, brown-field, and retrofit projects across North America and Europe, shaping high-impact, automated material handling solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Design/Innovation, research & development, manufacturing, process, industrial engineering, or related experience.
• Experience in management of engineering design projects.

Responsibilities

• Own multiple projects simultaneously from concept realization through design approval.
• Serve as the supplier's primary technical contact for projects and hand off to Ops Engineering for installation and commissioning.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to design high quality, cost effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems.
• Work on green-fields, brown-fields, and retrofits across North America and Europe.
