Job summary

Williamson County is seeking a supervisory professional to oversee the Inmate Trust Fund and Bond Services at the jail. You will ensure GAAP compliance, oversee month-end closings, and coordinate with multiple departments to maintain accurate financial records.

Responsibilities include training staff, resolving technical issues, and generating department reports. This role requires strong accounting skills, leadership, and the ability to work with external vendors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least four years in clerical accounting/financial duties.
• Minimum one year of lead or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Audit departmental controls for accuracy in finance and reporting.
• Complete month-end reconciliation for Bonds and Inmate Trust Fund accounts.
• Provide training to Bond Services, Inmate Trust Fund, Booking and related departments.
• Support and troubleshoot Odyssey software, scanners, and printers.
