• Oversees the daily operation of the facility's laundry, including washing inmate clothing and bedding.
• Supervises inmate trustees assigned to the laundry area and assigns duties.
• Creates and maintains inmate work schedules.
• Orders cleaning supplies and ensures machines have detergent loaded.
• Provides statistical data concerning laundry operations.
• Coordinates with the Special Projects Sergeant on complex issues.
• Maintains supply stock of jump suits and linens with the Supply Room Specialist.
• Completes written correspondence and disciplinary/logistical reports.
• Performs other duties as required.
