Job summary

The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Supervisor to oversee all facility laundry operations, including receiving, washing, maintenance of machines and distribution of laundry in a secure environment.

You will supervise staff and detainees, ensure safety, maintain inventories, and generate reports. The position requires leadership, two years of laundry experience and ability to work with industrial laundry equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years laundry experience in large commercial setting; one year in lead role.
• Ability to motivate and lead teams and work cooperatively.
• Knowledge of laundry sanitation and safety measures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pickup, sorting, washing, and distribution of laundry.
• Direct department staff and supervise detainee workers.
• Maintain security by counting detainees in the laundry area.
• Oversee maintenance inspections and shift reports.
• Manage inventory and supplies; ensure housekeeping standards.
• Perform periodic inventories and cost per load documentation.
