Job summary

Xerox is seeking a systems engineering specialist to lead system-level testing of production inkjet presses. You’ll develop test strategies, validate hardware changes, analyze reliability data, and report performance trends. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure product readiness and drive improvements in field reliability.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in engineering and hands-on experience with electromechanical systems, data analysis tools, and structured test planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical engineering field.
• Experience with product development, system testing, or hardware validation.
• Ability to plan structured test activity and translate requirements into test coverage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a system test matrix to exercise press features and configurations.
• Plan and execute system-level testing on production inkjet equipment for reliability, image quality, and productivity.
• Collect, analyze, and roll up data to measure product reliability and trends.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to install, retrofit, and validate new hardware and design changes.
• Provide daily direction to technicians supporting test execution.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
