Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a PWI R&D Writing Systems Engineer to own system‑level performance on industrial inkjet web presses. You will lead advanced troubleshooting, on‑press experiments, and cross‑subsystem coordination to improve print quality, reliability, and robustness.

You will mentor engineers, translate press behavior into actionable insights, and influence design choices across ink, printheads, firmware, and mechanics.

Qualifications

Extensive hands‑on engineering experience in complex products.
Strong ability to lead root cause analysis and cross‑subsystem troubleshooting.
Experience with inkjet/writing systems or related imaging/printing tech preferred.

Responsibilities

Own system-level performance and advanced troubleshooting.
Lead on‑press experiments to isolate root causes and quantify sensitivities.
Drive system integration and design improvements for ink, printhead, media, firmware, and mechanics.
Provide data-driven decisions and communicate risks to leadership.
