Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years experience in inkjet/applications or additive manufacturing with 2+ years in electronic/RF/microwave components.
• Strong knowledge of piezoelectric/thermal printheads, waveform tuning, and fluid rheology.
• Ability to troubleshoot industrial printers and refine print files with standard tools.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and interacting with customers at sites.

Responsibilities

• Test inks, printheads, and substrates for print quality and customer requirements.
• Operate and optimize industrial inkjet printers and micro-pen dispensers.
• Evaluate fluid-structure interactions and tune printing waveforms for electronics.
• Define customer requirements with sales and prepare cost estimates.
• Conduct proof-of-concept evaluations on specialist substrates.
• Support DoD and government research contracts with white papers and proposals.
• Troubleshoot fluidic, hardware, software, and integration issues on-site.
• Identify risks and implement solutions for defect-free components.
• Visit customer sites, develop work plans, and adapt capabilities to needs.
• Monitor progress against project timelines and work authorizations.
• Train customer engineering teams and document procedures.
• Use field data to guide internal R&D and suppliers.
