Job summary

KLA Industries, Inc. is seeking an Inkjet Application Engineer to bring a custom printing platform from R&D into production for flexible electronics.

You will optimize inkjet delivery systems, troubleshoot hardware/software, and advance milestones for electronic and RF components used in defense and commercial markets. The role involves testing inks and substrates, operating industrial printers, and collaborating with sales to define customer requirements, develop prototypes, and prepare cost

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in inkjet application development or additive manufacturing.
• 2+ years focused on electronic, electrical, or RF/microwave components.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting industrial printers and refining print files.

Responsibilities

• Test inks, printheads, and substrates for print quality and compatibility.
• Operate and optimize industrial inkjet printers and micro-pen dispensers.
• Evaluate fluid-structure interactions and tune printing waveforms.
• Support DoD and government research contracts with technical demos and white papers.
• Train customer teams and document procedures for field deployment.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Master's degree or certifications in additive manufacturing or printing technologies
