Qualifications

• 7+ years in inkjet application development or additive manufacturing, with 2+ years in electronics or RF/microwave components.
• Advanced knowledge of industrial inkjet systems, including piezoelectric and thermal printhead technology.
• Experience debugging hardware/software and refining print files using standard tools.
• Familiarity with motion control, digital imaging, and metrology equipment.
• Ability to work independently and communicate technical information clearly.
• Commitment to quality and responsive customer service.

Responsibilities

• Test inks, printheads, and substrates for quality, cycle time, and customer requirements.
• Operate and optimize industrial inkjet printers and micro-pen dispensers for high-precision parts.
• Evaluate fluid-structure interactions and tune waveforms for flexible/RF electronics.
• Define customer requirements with sales and configure custom printing solutions.
• Produce prototypes and prepare cost estimates.
• Conduct proof-of-concept evaluations on electronics substrates.
• Contribute to white papers, proposals, and demonstrations for DoD contracts.
• Troubleshoot fluidic, hardware, and software issues for field teams and subcontractors.
• Identify risks and implement solutions to ensure defect-free components.
• Visit customer sites, develop work plans, and adapt capabilities to needs.
• Monitor progress against objectives and timelines.
• Train customer engineers and mentor junior staff.
• Document design work and prepare technical reports and SOPs.
• Use field data to guide internal R&D and suppliers to reduce time and cost.
