Job summary

Ati-Physical-Therapy in Midland, NC is seeking an Injury Prevention Specialist to join our MSK health team. You will develop on-site injury prevention programs, assess body mechanics, and tailor plans to reduce risk while promoting worker well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Athletic Training.
• Discipline-specific license or certification as appropriate.
• Basic Life Support and AED Certification.
• BOC certified or eligible to sit for BOC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface with office and industrial clients to assess employee health status and create an individualized plan for improvement.
• Observe employee work performance to assess body mechanics, risk, and mitigation plans.
• Understand OSHA recordkeeping rules as they pertain to first aid (29 CFR 1904.7).
• Provide education and coaching to address discomfort and prevent injuries.
• Assist with medical surveillance testing and clinic operations.
• Develop employee health education and training on wellness and disease prevention.
