Job summary

Moriroku-Technology-North-America- is seeking a Materials Handler to issue and move resin to injection molding lines, keeping precise records and ensuring quality. You will work closely with the Materials Supervisor, maintain ERP records, and help sustain safe, organized inventory in a fast-paced plant.

Role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, willingness to work rotating shifts, and strict adherence to PPE and safety guidelines in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of resin handling or plastic manufacturing experience.
• Familiar with thermoplastics, drying requirements, and material handling equipment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and communication.
• Willing to work rotating shifts or weekends as needed.
• Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and noise.
• Compliant with PPE and safety standards.
• Full-time position with potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Issue, transport, and supply resin to injection molding machines per schedule.
• Load and unload resin into hoppers, dryers, and handling systems.
• Maintain records of resin issued, returned, and scrapped in ERP/SAP.
• Inspect resins for contamination, moisture, or quality before issuing.
• Track inventory levels and report shortages or overages to supervisor.
• Label and store materials per safety and traceability standards.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality guidelines.

Job description

• Issue, transport, and supply resin materials to injection molding machines according to the production schedule.
• Load and unload resin into hoppers, dryers, and material handling systems.
• Maintain accurate records of resin issued, returned, and scrapped using ERP or inventory systems (e.g., SAP).
• Inspect resins for contamination, moisture, or quality issues before issuing.
• Track inventory levels and report shortages or overages to the Materials Supervisor.
• Assist with proper labeling and storage of all materials in compliance with safety and traceability standards.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality guidelines.

Qualifications/Skills:

• 1–2 years of experience in a plastic injection molding or resin handling environment, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
• Familiarity with types of thermoplastics, drying requirements, and material handling equipment.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs safely.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and production reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment on rotating shifts or weekends if required.
• Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and various materials.
• Requires standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Full-time, with potential for overtime based on production needs.
• Shifts may include days, evenings, or weekends.
