You will set up, modify, and maintain process parameters for one-shot and two-shot injection molding, troubleshoot molding and automation issues, and uphold safety, quality, and productivity in a fast-paced plastics environment. The role requires strong mold maintenance, technical skills, and the ability to work with tooling and measuring equipment to ensure precise parts and efficient

Qualifications

Experience with injection molding processes and setup.
Troubleshooting injection molding and automation processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD prints.
Knowledge of measurement tools and GD&T.

Responsibilities

Overview

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as anInjection Process Technician working the 2nd shift! In this vital role, you will be responsible for setting-up, modifying, and maintaining process parameters for one-shot and two-shot injection molding processes, troubleshooting injection molding and automation processes in regards to quality, performance, and productivity problems, and maintaining cleanliness, tidiness, and work safety Standards. Your expertise will help maintain efficient processes, uphold safety standards, and deliver precision in every part produced. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in plastics manufacturing and industrial equipment operation.

Required Technical Skills

Injection mold assembly, disassembly, and repair
Preventive maintenance (PM) of injection molds
Mold troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Mold polishing and finishing techniques
Hot runner system maintenance and repair
Hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical mold systems knowledge
Mold alignment and fitting
Mold changeovers and setup support
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD prints
Precision measurement and inspection techniques
Mold qualification and validation

Machining Skills
