Job summary

Moriroku-Technology-North-America- is seeking a Logistics Associate to support material handling, packaging, and shipping across all production areas. The role requires adherence to kanban workflows, accurate inventory control, and operating material handling equipment safely.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of logistics experience, familiarity with barcode scanning, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. The position offers full-time hours with possible overtime and varied shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in logistics, warehouse, or material handling; automotive or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and barcode scanners.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods, and operate material handling equipment safely.
• Basic computer skills and understanding of production documentation.
• Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and various materials.

Responsibilities

• Material handling for all production areas with correct packaging to production lines.
• Shipping functions including unloading, sorting, loading, and staging.
• Inventory control of materials, components and finished goods.
• Packaging control (Mass Pro, cardboard, New Model) and repacking services.
• Inventory management using kanban system and 5S for the plant.
• Unload/Receive components with product verification and scanning.
• Staging/Shipping components and returnables to outsource suppliers.
• Perform physical inventory duties as required.

Job description

• Material handling for all production areas Deliver correct packaging to production lines and store filled packaging in the warehouse
• Shipping functions including unloading and sorting containers/totes/racks, loading, staging, etc.
• Inventory Control of materials, components and finished goods
• Packaging control (Mass Pro, cardboard, New Model)
• Repacking components into finished goods for shipments
• Repacking service components into finished goods service shipments
• Issue components lineside using the kanban system for the entire plant
• Maintain 5S for entire plant
• Willing to work in all areas of Logistics
• Unload/Receive components – product verification, scanning, stocking
• Staging/Shipping components and returnable containers to outsource suppliers in Receiving
• Physical Inventory activities
• Other duties as required
