Job summary

The Legacy Companies, LLC in Avondale, PA is seeking a Molding Technician to support injection molding operations on the third shift. You will start up, set up, operate, and adjust molding equipment to produce parts that meet quality and production requirements.

You will monitor processing conditions, prepare materials, troubleshoot operating issues, and train operators while maintaining a safe, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Start up, set up, operate and shut down injection molding machines following approved procedures.
• Load, mix and prepare resins according to material specifications and procedures.
• Train operators on safe machine operation and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Start up, set up, operate, and shut down injection molding machines in accordance with production requirements.
• Set up and adjust robots and related equipment within training limits.
• Monitor molding process settings to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Identify and troubleshoot defects and equipment issues; escalate as needed.
• Record production quantities, scrap, downtime and process changes.
