Job summary

TecNiq Inc. in Michigan is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support injection molding operations. You will start and stop molding machines and robots, complete mold changes, and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.

This role requires basic quality tools knowledge, the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and the capability to perform material changeovers. Prior experience with robot programming for part removal is a plus.

• Startup and shutdown injection molding machines and robots
• Complete mold changes

• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skill/Abilities:

• Ability to apply basic understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Experience with injection molding to include set up, trouble shooting and root cause analysis
• Understanding of basic quality tools (micrometers, calipers, weigh scales, etc.) preferred
• Experience with injection molding part removal robot programming
• Experience managing people is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical College Degree or equivalent preferred.
