Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) is seeking a Device Molding Technician in Sandy, UT. You will operate and coordinate injection molding equipment, ensuring product quality and safe, efficient production on a 12-hour alternating day shift.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and involves inspections, documentation, and collaboration with the team to maintain continuous improvement and safe operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsabilités

• Perform first and last article inspections and verify parts meet quality requirements.
• Monitor injection molding equipment and auxiliary machinery for accurate operation.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections and document results.
• Identify, document, and properly handle rejected or nonconforming product.
• Weigh, label and package finished product per work order requirements.
• Prepare completed product for final release and shipment to the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate production, inspection, and quality documentation.
• Keep molding machines and work areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Communicate production, equipment, and quality issues to team members.
• Assist with cross-training and on-the-job training of other associates.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities (5S, Kaizen, shift start-up).
• Follow BD safety, quality, hazardous waste, and operating procedures.
• Work overtime as needed and perform other duties.
