BD’s manufacturing team is seeking a Mold Set-Up Technician in Sandy, UT to set up molds and equipment, monitor processes, and ensure quality products. This role emphasizes hands-on setup, troubleshooting, and collaboration across engineering and production teams.

Requirements include 2-5 years in molding/manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication skills. This is an on-site position with safety PPE provided and a focus on maintaining clean, safe operations.

Formación

• 2-5 years of molding and/or manufacturing experience required.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Set up molds, injection molding machines, and auxiliary equipment.
• Monitor production processes and adjust machines for quality and efficiency.
• Perform first article, last article, and in-process quality inspections.
• Troubleshoot molding defects and support corrective actions.
• Complete production paperwork and process documentation.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and minor equipment repairs.
• Support mold changes, maintenance, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, tooling, material handling, and production teams.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
• Participate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
