Job summary

SureStaff in Frankfort, IL is hiring a General Technician to keep equipment running at peak efficiency so production stays safe and on time. Responsibilities include repairing and maintaining machinery, operating 12–15 injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, inspecting products, labeling and packaging per instructions, and keeping a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
• Ability to read and understand written procedures and instructions.
• Attention to details, along with good visual skills.
• Team-oriented with ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office are a plus.
• Ability to operate hand, and power lift equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate 12-15 injection molding machine for production.
• Operate auxiliary equipment.
• Inspect product as per working instructions.
• Label and package products in compliance with work instructions and customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
