Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking an experienced Process Technician with a strong background in plastic injection molding to support production operations. You will set up machines, perform mold changes, optimize processes, and troubleshoot to meet quality and production goals.

Work with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Production teams, ensure safe operation, and participate in new mold trials and process validations. RJG Certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Process Technician in plastic injection molding.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding machines, molds, and tooling.
• Experience with mold changes, startups, and parameter development.
• Ability to read process docs, setup sheets and drawings.
• Proactive troubleshooting and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic injection molding machines, molds, auxiliary equipment.
• Perform mold changes, machine setups, startups, and changeovers safely.
• Establish process parameters and maintain temperatures, pressures, speeds and cycle times.
• Troubleshoot molding processes and equipment to improve quality and productivity.
• Assist with new mold trials and process validation.
• Document process settings and production changes as needed.
• Train operators on proper molding processes and procedures.
• Support preventive maintenance and ensure equipment is maintained and safe.
