Job summary

Southeastern Container, Inc. seeks an Injection Machine Operator to safely run injection molding machines, monitor quality, and perform changeovers and routine maintenance. You will support resin feeding, color changes, and automatic equipment like cranes and defect-detection systems.

The role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays. Training will cover safety, SOPs, and production reporting in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and safety rules.
• Basic math skills and accurate data recording.
• Mechanical aptitude; able to learn injection molding equipment and procedures.
• Ability to distinguish resin and color requirements and perform changeovers.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliance with PPE, lockout/tagout, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely start, stop, set up, and operate injection molding machines and associated systems.
• Monitor production for quality and report out-of-spec issues.
• Perform material and product changeovers as scheduled and coordinate with Production Scheduling.
• Record production, scrap, and quality data accurately; maintain clean work area.
• Perform basic maintenance and assist with mold cleaning and calibration checks.
• Complete required reports and participate in safety and continuous-improvement activities.
