Southeastern Container, Inc. is seeking an Injection Machine Operator to safely operate injection molding machines and crane systems, ensuring quality preforms and parts.

Responsibilities include setup, process monitoring, changeovers, quality testing, scrap control, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements. The role requires reading instructions, mechanical aptitude, and ability to document production data in a 12-hour shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions, safety rules, and quality specs.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment/process controls.
• Ability to distinguish product, resin, and color requirements and perform changeovers.
• Ability to use computer terminals, touchscreens, scanners, or electronic reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Safely start, stop, set up, and operate injection molding machines and crane system.
• Monitor resin/colorant feed and support continuous operation.
• Perform material and product changeovers as scheduled.
• Complete required quality tests and document results.
• Report anomalies and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety requirements.
• Complete production, scrap, quality, and maintenance reports on time.
