Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Line Setter for the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 11PM-7:30AM) to support injection molding lines for headlight and taillight assemblies. You will set up and run first piece checks, ensuring high-quality cosmetic plastic parts while collaborating with engineers and other team members.

The role requires 4 years of relevant experience or an associate/bachelor’s degree in Plastic Engineering or related field, with ability to work hot environments and physically demanding tasks.

Qualifications

• 4 years of injection molding machine processing experience OR an Associate/Bachelor’s in Plastic Engineering or related field.
• Experience processing injection molding machines that manufacture highly cosmetic plastic parts.

Responsibilities

• Set up, process, and run first piece for injection molding machines to ensure quality parts are produced.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and management to debug/machine issues.
• Clean hoppers and prepare area for material changeovers.
• Perform necessary equipment changeovers.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
