Job summary

Valeo in Smyrna, GA is seeking a skilled Injection Molding Process Technician for the 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 10 PM–6:30 AM), with OT as necessary, to support our advanced plastics operations.

You will troubleshoot molding issues, operate and maintain equipment, run Engel and Sepro robots, and collaborate with the team to improve TRP, cycle time, and scrap.

A high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of mold set‑up and defect identification are required for this permanent, full‑time role.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
2+ years of experience with new mold setup and plastic injection mold machines.
2+ years of experience identifying injection defects after manufacturing.
Familiarity with Engel and Sepro robots preferred.
Experience with injection insert over-molding preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot injection molding process issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Operate and maintain injection molding process equipment.
Operate overhead crane.
Maintain injection process standards.
Collaborate with the injection team to improve TRP, cycle time, and scrap.
Start Engel and Sepro robots.
Troubleshoot injection mold machine automation issues.
