Job summary

Valeo in Indiana is seeking a Line Setter for the 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 11 PM–7:30 AM) to set up, monitor, and run injection molding lines for cosmetic plastic headlight and taillight components. You will work with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure first-piece quality and continuous production.

The role requires hands-on experience with injection molding machines, the ability to perform changeovers, lift up to 75 lbs, and endure standing.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of injection molding machine processing experience.
• Experience processing injection molding machines that manufacture highly cosmetic plastic parts.

Responsibilities

• Set up, process, and run “1st piece” for injection molding machines.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and/or other management personnel to debug and troubleshoot molding machine issues.
• Clean hoppers and prepare area for material changeovers.
• Make necessary equipment changeovers.
• Handle other job duties as assigned.
• Possibly perform hot work and endure standing up to 100%, lifting up to 75 lbs, overhead work, kneeling, bending, crawling, pushing, pulling, climbing, and working at heights.

What You Will Do

• You will set-up, process, and run “1st piece” for injection molding machines that manufacture plastic parts for headlight and tail light assemblies, ensuring quality parts are being manufactured
• You will collaborate with engineers, designers, and/or other management personnel to debug and troubleshoot any molding machine issues

What You Should Have

• You have a minimum of 4 years of injection molding machine processing experience OR an Associate’s Degree / Bachelor’s Degree in Plastic Engineering, Plastic Engineering Technology, or similar Plastic degree
• You have experience processing injection molding machines that manufacture highly cosmetic plastic parts
